in Credit cards
Hi,
Can anyone offer any advice, we currently have a credit card and are now ready to transfer to another one with 0% balance. But to my shock when we applied we got refused, by 2 different banks.
I don't look at my credit report, but signed up because I couldn't understand what was happening. We used to have a one account mortgage, and switched it a couple of years ago. But we did leave the bank account open.
Some money got put into that account 7 or 8 months ago and I withdrew it from a cashpoint, but that put the account 44p overdrawn.
I didn't realise this, and now the account has gone into "delinquency" according to my credit report. I've paid in the money to get it straight, but I'm now really worried that I can;t swap credit cards because of 44p !!
Can I ask them to remove the delinquency from my records , if so, are they likely to ?
Any help would be very greatly appreciated
Duncan

Probably not, because they are reporting factual information, you were 44p overdrawn so the information they have supplied to the credit agency are correct and factual0
