Hello,
As we have so far established, i know next to nothing about technology, so imagine my joy at trying to buy a computer and get the internet!
Anway I have managed to narrow it down to two choices,
http://www.aria.co.uk/Systems/Home+Range/Proteus/Gladiator+Proteus+Home+Starter+PC+?productId=31115
or
http://www.aria.co.uk/Systems/Special+Offers/AriaNet+Value/Arianet+Value+2800+Intel+PC+?productId=31975
I will then buy windows XP to put on it, I have someone who can do that for me.
I dont intend to watch anything on my PC, i want to access the internet, use Word, (which i know I will have to get seperatly), and maybe adobe. I will want to upload some pictures, but dont want to download anything. Any other suggestions would be considered, if you can explain for me why you think they would be better. My maximum budget for the whole thing, so base unit, operating system and Screen is going to be £300 inlcuding VAT.
I am sorry to post another one of these threads, but I am not interested in a Laptop, and I couldnt find anything suitable in the old threads. I would like to order today, so any help would be great. Thanks

Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.

They're much of a muchness, really. The main thing is that the Proteus has a DVD-burner, which would swing it for me.0
