Flights to Miami in March 2006

Hi there!
I'm looking to travel to Miami in March 2006. I have been informed by a friend that there are various flight offers available and he mentioned that here was a good place to start.
I've scanned through all the various airline websites and others such as travelocity, opodo, lastminute.com and found that £340 return is the best fare available currently.
Does anyone have experience of booking these sorts of flights and when the best time to buy is? I've heard a rumour that Virgin do a 'January Sale', is there any truth in this? Is it better to fly on a Saturday or a weekday to get the best deals? So many questions!
Any help, advice, links to deals, etc would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
James

BA and Virgin often have a January sale and sometimes Miami is included, but March is popular so they may offer the cheapest sale flights on very off peak days such as Tuesday or Wednesday.
If the £340 return is direct and includes all taxes, fees and charges, then I think that is pretty good.
BA have a return for £311 on their website.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
Thanks Richard, think I'll take the £340 fare, travelling there and back on a Saturday means it's conveiniant and a farely good deal to boot.0

I got £330 on AA for the dates you wanted - from LHR direct.
Why book with an agency? It is usually cheaper these days direct with the Airline.0 -

I found the prices on BA were exactly the same as those on Expedia, unless there were extra charges to be applied once I got through to the pay screen.
Thanks for the help.0 -
