Right, I've now managed to install windows fully, and am now setting up my system for normal use. However I've come up against a few hurdles, so here goes:
(I love MSE)
- I have separated the OS, page file and everything else via the use of three partitions, is there any proper way of moving the Documents and Settings folder, so that no program dumps stuff on C: (the boot partition)
- Is there any way of permanently disabling the annoying message that tells me that I'm running low on disk space in
, I know, It's full of page file:wall: - The monitor has gone dodgy ever since I installed the gfx card drivers. The desktop spills off the edge no matter what I do with the monitor controls, or changing the display resolution.

Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.

To change the location of the My Documents folder in XP (which I assume you are using) open the start menu and right-click on the My Documents link and click properties, you can then change the target of My Documents to your hard drive partition.
Hope this helps"This 'telephone' has too many shortcomings to be seriously considered as a means of communication. The device is inherently of no value to us."

The use of three partitions does not make for a faster PC, is this what you are doing? The page file needs access as well as any programs on the other partitions ie all using the same disc controller. If the drive goes down you still lose the lot.0
