Fruadulent card applications at my address

Options
Someone had been applying for cards in the name of the previous owner of my property. I have received 2 letters in the name of the lady (who I believe died about 5 years ago) which have said the applications have been rejected.

Equifax are not interested because I am not a member.

At the moment it doesn't appear a problem because the applications have been rejected but if someone out there keeps trying then who knows what might happen. Has anyone got any suggestions of what to do?

thanks in advance

Matt

    Report it to the police.

Otherwise I wouldn't worry Matt, your credit record is specific to you, not your address.

    I'd contact police first.
All this activity does not make sence without redirecting post to some other address. Probably, it is worth contacting Royal Mail.
CIFAS is probably the the right organisation to contact too (see the above link).
