B&Q Kitchen

We have been researching kitchens for some months and are now keen on one from B&Q. The cost quoted seems very reasonable. It includes all appliances, installation and tiling and takes advantage of the 15% discount they offered a few weeks ago (they agreed to fix the price) and the half price installation offer.
B&Q's installers initially refused to install it because we are on the 2nd floor in a block of flats. However, they have now agreed to it and I am being asked to pay the full amount.
I have read many forum posts on this website and others regarding B&Q kitchens but I cannot seem to find any very recent ones.
Firstly, does anyone have any recent feedback of the B&Q kitchen service?
Secondly, I am feeling a little uncomfortable about paying all the money up front. B&Q say it's up front or no deal. If we use other installers, the price is likely to be quite a bit more. Any opinions would be valued. I'm erring on the side of taking the risk given that I can go into my local store and complain should anything go wrong.

Unless you know the squad of fitters have done a good job fitting other similarly priced kitchens, I would be reluctant to pay out all the money up front.0

I wouldn't be happy paying in full up front either. We bought our kitchen from Wickes and used a Kitchen fitter from their independent builders listing. The kitchen fitter we chose was fantastic and asked for nothing in advance of work commencing. Payment was split into 3 stages: 1)Deposit at the end of first day equal to......2)A further deposit at the end of the fourth day equal to.......3)And the balance on satisfactory completion. We needed a complete renovation of our kitchen so it was more expensive than a simple kitchen being fitted. The standard of work was 1st class, they completed quicker than expected and the kitchen itself was wonderful. Very happy with the end result.0
