Heres Fridays list! not sure what I will get done today as I am off to see a potential client today - three and a half hours there and three and a half hours back.. no mse for me today! OH back tonight with DD2 and DD3 so normal service resumed for me last week.

Had a treat (I think) last night. DD1 and boyfriend took me bowling and for a meal (I paid for the meal!) but its rare I get to go out with my big girl now so was a pleasant change.

Have finished painting my 'new' sitting room (it used to be a dining room). Just got the bedrooms to do now.

Friday Frenzy- those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
Level One
Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc
Make an appointment for some ME-time.. hairdressers? manicure? night out with friends? .. whatever just do it!
Level Two
Vacuum the floor
Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade and curtain pole!!!
Strip beds, turn and vacuum mattresses!! and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets need freshening up too!!
Level Three
Clean 2 windows
Sort through a cupboard/chest of drawers and get the clothes out which are no longer wearable, too small or out of season!
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors
Extra Task List

1. Find 5 things to ebay/freecycle
2. Wipe the radiators, skirtings and window & door frames!
3. HHI
4. Binbag dance!!! grab a binbag and fill it with stuff to leave the house.. rubbish or charity shop or to donate to a friend!

Sammy - finger's crossed the meetign with the new client goes well, though 3 and 1/2 hours each way sounds horrendous! Way to go getting the new sitting room finished. Are you having a decorating break before starting on the bedrooms?

I've got a builder coming out tomorrow to give me a quote to get the 'computer' room (this will become LBs bedroom) fit to use as a bedroom; remomve polystyrene ceiling tiles and fit a new ceiling, take plaster back to brickwork on two outside walls, paint on special membrane, special plasterboard, then skim all walls and ceilings). I might get the witless nephew in to do the painting of it. I fancy a neutral cream colour witha paper border but we'll wait and see.

Its been easy to paint this week cos the little one has been away, she's back tonight so it will have to be a case of as and when really. The bedrooms are quite small. I thought I had gone for a neutral cream but its really quite bright, I needed sunglasses yesterday!

I need a new kitchen but I am trying to do it on the cheap so putting it off. My fave builder emigrated to australia.
