boyf is about to move into his first apartment and they've told him he needs a "condenser washer dryer" as there's nowhere for a hot air hose thingy to go and no room to have a separate washer and dryer.
I've been looking around but can't find many that say they are condensing, can anyone help? I don't even really know what condensing means!

condensing means that the wet clothes are tumbled with hot air the steam created is then cooled and turns back into water and then the machine pumps it out of the waste. These machines take forever to dey clothes and use a lot of electric. i had one but with a family of four found that the washing was just piing up whilst waiting for the others to be dry. I brought a small ordinary tumble dryer and stuck it in the shed witha condenser water collector that i got out of betterware.. its just a plastic tub with ice packs in.
The hose connects to the tub, sealing it, the steam goes in, the ice turns it to water and you empty the tub down the drain. much cheaper and faster than a condensor/washer. HTH.Its not how far you fall but how high you bounce back that matters
