Draft from bottom of front door

Hi folks,

Just wondering what are the options to stop a draft that's coming from the bottom of the front door.

Thanks

You can get metal strips for the bottom of doors, some have brisstles and some have just rubber. You screw these onto the bootm of the door and can be cut with a hacksaw to the required width if needed. They come in aluminium and gold colour about £4 from shops like wilkinsons and B&Q

sorry should have asked what type of door you have before i replied.

A folded old towel is good for a draught excluder on nightimes when your inside.

    Hello rchddap1

You could fit a draught excluder strip to the bottom of the door. You could put a curtain rail and curtain above the door and close the curtain every evening to keep the draughts out. A more expensive option would be a replacement door.

    Hope that helps.

    Kind Regards

Don't like the idea of a curtain. I'll have to investigate a draft excluder....or a folded towel.

Look here: Draught & Rain Excluders
Also investigate Weatherstrip to seal gaps between the door and the door frame ...

Stormguard or Stormseal is what you need.
    They got them in B&Q.
