Help buying a wedding album!

I'm looking for a leather wedding album as I've just got married and I am based in the cardiff area and cant seem to find any decent shops that
A) either open at a normal hour (after 5pm) or
B) have any decent selection

I have also looked online and the only ones I can see seem to be pretty err specialised, companys like aspinal, mario acerboni and denis wright all have nice albums but I can't find them anywhere else cheaper than there own websites or in Cardiff and I wondered if you guys had any tips or any ideas where else i could look!
MANY THANKS PEL :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Huge congrats!

Do you have any out of town WHSmiths you could try? They stay open past 5pm and do a wide range of wedding albums.

John lewis do lovely albums, top range stuff, or I found when i was booking my wedding photographer that alot of them would mention the album company that they used. I could then look the companies up on their own websites and see if i liked anything they did. These were the professional ones though, so they came with cut-out frames etc etc. Congratulations on your recent wedding!

  • I second John Lewis. If you can get to one, they do absolutely amazingly beautiful albums.

I also noticed a few in M&S (it was a big one though - shop, not album! - with all the home bits).

https://www.spicerhallfield.co.uk - you'll need to buy pages and/overlays to display your photographs on each page - These are the albums i use for my clients

https://www.italianweddingalbums.com - Don't know anything about these albums except they are very good quality

http://www.bagsoflove.co.uk/photo-book.asp - slightly different way of displaying your pics, more of a coffee table book, up to A3 size

Not sure if John Lewis or WHS albums are the kind that have self adnesive pages, i don't like this type at all i much prefer tissued pages to protect the photo and they look much more like a traditional album. Also you may not be able to adjust the amount of pages which with an album you 'make up yourself' you will have total control over how many and what size photos you add.
