I know that sound a bit of an oxymoron but has anyone ever just got on a plane and gone there.
I'm note sure I want to spend 10 days lying on a beach at a swanky hotel when I can lie on the same beach and stay in a cheap guesthouse.
I'm planning on give Mrs Nobjocki a bit of a surprise for putting up with me for so long.
Any suggestions or websites much appreciated.
Thanks,
The Jockster.

You may find that an inclusive tour (fight and hotel) costs less than an air ticket. However, yes, of course you can turn up: I did. However, I got taken for a ride by a taxi: I had wanted to go into the city but got taken to a small guest house beside a beach.0

to answer your question Yes but i did book my hostel before i got to Mauritius who picked me up from the airline in a mini moke

I stayed with this place:

It is not how it is described and you have to get a bus really to go anywhere... Mauritius is a very poor place though if you go into a hotel they are very nice. You can get bus's around the island very cheaply... not a bad place really.
2004 i went for £233 return including tax from ebay
