Hi
Need to get from Euston Station to Terminal 5, Heathrow. I looked at the Tube map and it appeared the tube went from Euston Square to Leicester Square, change onto the Piccadilly line which will take me to Terminal 5.
I went on Heathrow Airport website and it says yep, Terminal 5 has an underground station and getting to central London would be £4 (so I assume similar in reverse!!)
Yet when I try and do a journey planner on TFL it says I have to get the tube to Paddington then get on the Heathrow Express at £14.50 one way!!
So, to ask simply... can't I just get a tube (or two) from Euston to Heathrow???????

Why you using Euston Square?
Euston, Victoria line to Green park, change onto Piccadilly line to Heathrow0 -
Hi
The tfl journey planner says via Heathrow Express , but if you go to advanced options and only tick tube it will show tube only.
Euston s/bound Victoria Line to Green Park. Then Picadilly Line westbound to Heathrow Terminal 5. (dont get on T4 train)
It will take longer though.
PS If you have a National Rail card of some sort you will get 33% off Heathrow Express.
Ps Euston square and Euston are seperate stations. Use Euston as above. If using Heathrow Express walk to Euston Square for tube to Paddington then Heathrow Express .

Alan99 is correct; Euston - Victoria Line southbound to Green Park, change to Piccadilly Line westbound (make sure you get a Heathrow tube, it also has a branch that goes to Uxbridge). When looking to use the underground, it is always best to look at the tube map first. The TfL journey planner does have some eccentricities.Let us be grateful to people who make us happy, they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. - Proust0

BTW not all the Tube trains that go to LHR go to T5 - some go to T4 instead (though they all go to T123), so you might want to ensure you get the right Tube train0
