I've never asked why people are selling

I just go to look at the property at various times, evening, morning, lunchtime on a weekend so that I can see what the noise levels are like, any parking issues etc etc.
I went back in the evening to look at a flat I'd seen during the day and realised that parking would be a huge issue as it wasn't numbered. That turned me off so I didn't make an offer.Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re probably right ~ Henry Ford0 -
Moving closer to work family etc are all good. (Most people lie but why tell them your concerns about your property. But telling them the truth is like telling them not to think of pink elephants. You plant the seed for there thought process.)
Do not say for a bigger house like some people on here. Do not be negative or point out any points you perceive as negative.

my honest answer is we need a garage and a bigger house with side access to the back garden, but i know that would put people off so i wont say that.
I'd just say you are moving to a bigger house, leave the detail out of it....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
None of our viewers asked me why we were moving but I was quite happy to tell the truth - that we were moving from our previous beautifully manicured, low-maintenance garden to somewhere that will give me something to do in the garden in the evenings :-)0

i think SELLER's reason for moving may be more interesting.. (noisy neighbours? expensive leaky roof..?)Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)0
