We're off to the New forest this weekend and would like to have internet access in our chalet. Just wondering if I will be able to get internet access using my wireless laptop when we get there?

Thanks

    Have you got mobile broadband?

If not you could maybe give the place a call and ask them.

    Hi Al
Its called Oakdene in Ringwood - with a bit more investigation I've found this and they're on the list...

The thing is is that you could use the wifi but as its not your wifi you dont know what security is applied for the wifi, im not it isnt secure but i wouldnt do any internet banking or any emails just in case
  • I did this recently on holiday but as the last poster said its not secure which means you shouldn't access any private information such as bank accounts.

I also found that it did only work on specific areas of the site.
