Getting Phone to Find Memory Card

Does anyone know how to get a SonyEricsson Phone to recognise its memory card? Mine has a 2gb one in and does not seem to find it.

Any ideas what to do?

    Is it a genuine one, or eBay cheapy?! In my Samsung it just comes up with a little card logo in the top of the screen, if it's a copy it may not be recognised? If genuine then maybe the contacts need a clean?

    I have S/E K800i and it takes an M2 Memory card

    I have a Samsung phone and a sandisk memory card, it shows up on mine but I did have trouble fitting the card but one good shove and it clicked into place.
