Got an icon in the task bar on the right, Safely Remove Hardware.
It says remove USB mass storage Drives G,H,I and J.
Nothing plugged in the usb's tho there has been.
Also it says remove USB smartcard reader. Again this has been used for camera work in the past. Suppose I should have removed these safely at the time.
It also says Remove Drives C and D. !!!!!!!!

Which ones do I delete??

None of them - empty card readers normally show up as drives. The only time you need to "safely remove" a card or device is if you want to unplug it while the PC is running.

Even then, most will be Ok. It's only critical for memory devices whcih have recently been written to, to make sure that any cached data is flushed onto the card. If you don't do that it may corrupt the data on it.
