dividends for share in Idealing ISA

hi guys

Should i have received dividends for the shares I hold in my idealing ISA account

I hold share in five companies and have not seen any dividends since i opened them in April 07 ?

    If the shares pay a dividend then its usually paid out, reinvested to buy more shares or paid into the cash account inside the ISA. It really depends on which option you picked.

    Nick, if you name the companies whose shares you hold someone can tell you whether they pay dividends.

    No need for that - plenty of people, including fund managers, hold shares in these companies! Here are links to dividend histories -

    Barclays
    Lloyds
    BT
    Aviva
    RBS

    The Barclays page is not as helpful as the others as it doesn't give as much info but you can assume that the previous year's dates will be roughly the same.

    You definitely should have had dividends from all of these. Have you opted for automatic dividend re-investment? Though even if you did, there should be some evidence in your brokers account of dividends being credited.
