Who are they?? I am continually getting correspondence from them telling me about great returns. I appreciate there is no such thing as a free lunch, but has anyone invested in them??

I'm sure this company has been mentioned before.

Generally, you should ignore mailshots about investment products with companies you have no relationship with. Especially if they say you will get great returns.

There are a few companies called "asset management" on the FSA register but it could also easily be one of these overseas companies which the FSA can do nothing about.

Could you post a bit more detail about what they are offering and perhaps the postcode of the company so it can be checked on the FSA register.

They are not FSA registered which means you have no consumer protection if you follow their advice. I have found their website and it appears that they do not deal with conventional investments so FSA approval is not required. Its all about alternative investment.

Not the sort of thing you want to be getting involved with unless you want to speculate. The website doesn't give much away but usually if something seems to good to be true, it usually is.

They have a system of golf betting which uses price differences between bookies to make a profit ( arbitrage, though, confusingly, they claim that it isn't ). It looks as though they are selling the software to allow you to use this system.

There are people who successfully use arbitrage to make money but unfortunately bookies have a habit of closing the accounts of punters who are too "lucky" ! In any case, this is gambling, not investing...

Your right, it is betting not investing.

THe cost of the software is £4k + vat and £10 per week for updates. Seems pretty clever and well presented, not for me though.
