    I love Macs. I'm typing this reply on one. However, with a £350 budget, a MacBook is not an option. You'd need at least double that.

    Also, from what I gather, the OP doesn't need most of the features that come with the MacBook. It's silly to advise him/her to buy something unnecessary just because you like it.

    eBay is a wonderful place if you are looking for a bargain, and you can buy the extended warrenties there too... Nowhere did I suggest a MacBook, you can get an iBook for £350 easily ;)
