From what I've been told... aslong as I don't go Christmas, New Year or 'significant local dates' (which I'm aware is worded in such a way that it could include allsorts of things) - I can go whenever I want. At the moment I'm working on the assumption that 'significant local dates' means local festivals and such like rather than just popular times for tourists.

There's loads of pro's and cons to both sides of the equation. I'll be thinking long and hard about this one, thanks for your suggestions.

It doesn't say which glacier... I wouldn't imagine it would be too far from Gstaad though. This is all so bizarre... I can't believe I'm typing about this mega holiday... that's mine... flippin' eck.
