Best boiler breakdown cover
Options
......or something similar which will take care of any central heating problems.
British Gas have a Homecare plan and I've had leaflets for Servowarm and Thames Water.
Also have heard of Home emergency cover from various companies.
Anyone had any experience with any of the above and can advise me on things to look out for? Or can recommend any?
The boiler of my gas central heating is quite old (15 years) and has already started playing up a bit so I want to be prepared if anything drastic happens!
Thanks

I've already posted this under DIY etc but just in case anyone in this forum can help.

You're right Loon.
Just got turned down by Powergen although British Gas have given me a quote for 13.83 a month to start straight away(ie no delay period).
If anyone's interested, I read on one of the other boards that Powergen are offering 3 months free cover(normally 13 pounds a month), which is why I rang them first.
Their freephone no is: 08004790130
Now I'm trying to decide whether to go with BG or have the boiler serviced idependantly and go for home emergency cover...........“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
