MBNA and Virgin Cards - Own both ?

I have a Virgin card and am looking for another SBT card so am loking for at the MBNA Platinum, I dont intend to transfer any balance to the Virgin card but will I be able to apply for the MBNA card ?

I have a Virgin and an Alliance and Leicester card, both run by MBNA.
However, when I got the A+L card, they would let me transfer my "available credit" between the two cards, however they wouldn't give me any further credit. So you can definitely apply, and they may give you one, but it may not work out like you'd hoped.You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0 -
Yes you can hold multiple MBNA cards in this way.
The existing Credit Limit on your Virgin card may limit the amount that you get on the new card, but if any of the Virgin Credit Limit is unused they usually allow you to move that over to the new card.

Yes you can have more than 1 MBNA card. One of the advantages of having more than 1 MBNA card is, if you want a credit limit increase but are turned down, you can ask instead for the credit limit of one card to be transferred to another card.0
