  • To be honest I personally would say no but that would be because I don't like the processor that has or the fact that it is Vista Home Basic. Where possible you should always have at least Home Premium.

Poor spec, terrible battery life, and any version of vista is a downside IMHO.

    don't touch it.

dude, I would not buy a reconditioned laptop, especially sonsidering how poor a spec that is. You can buy a brand new one with better specs then that, the intel celeron m is a very old processer.

if you do want a reconditioned/new laptop then check out the pc world website, they some cheap stuff there but i am not sure about their warranties etc, but for basic tasks this laptop will do fine, only I think vista would be more of a hindrance then not.

Iam an xp fan,and it is possible to download updates that make xp usable for many years to come.

the sticky thread might give you some ideas
