Basic Bank Account -POA

Hey, after reading the topics on basic bank accounts...I feel I want to open one however having a problem with address proof.
I don't have a bank account and so have no statements, and moved into my flat last month. The only things with my address I have are:
*Offer of employment for my new job
*Payslips from my previous job (I was weekly paid)
*TV Licence
*Tenancy Agreement (private landlord)
As I also have a passport, proof of ID isn't a problem. Does anyone know of any banks which would accept any of these as proof of address?

My sister's OH opened a Halifax Easycash account with no proof of address. They just sent him a form saying "please sign this to confirm that you live where you say you do". So that would be an option. You even get a debit card (Visa Electron).
Make sure you specifically ask for Easycash, or else you will be applying for their regular account. You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0 -
Get a PAYE tax coding letter from the Inland Revenue.
This together with your passport should be ok.
Your tenancy agreement probably won't do if it is a private landlord - they normally want one from 'a trustworthy known local agent'.0 -

cus I took an A4 piece of paper with my signature & landlords signature on it, to my YB and they said that was fine.
aslong as its an original document with your signature on it as well as your landlords, they'll accept.0 -
How cool! I think I may have an account with citibank now. (Even though their call centre in India doesn't know what a TV Licence is). Apparently if I get my tenancy agreement witnessed by a bank it's ok to send with my passport...fingers crossed!0
