credit file worth knowing

Do you know that if you apply on-line for a credit card, and you do not pass their own credit scoring, they do not check your credit file anymore from Experian and Equifax. They just decline you straight away. If you pass their own credit scoring, that's when they will inquire with Equifax or Experian.
I think that's why also, some people who have high scores on their credit reports sometimes do not get the credit, because it is their score on the application form that has the problem.
If you access your files on line, it is worth observing. This was just my observation on my own files.
