    yep, well done mate.

    Thanks guys :-)

Rubydoiwannabee - i have found it so hard, and i've felt so isolated my mates are all out and about all the time and although they pop over for a cuppa at the moment i've not got much to talk about work and bills, work and bills!

I really want to get my self debt free but where as i'd been fobbing the creditors off and avoiding them up until now, now i have set up DMP for the big debts and faced the music it seems the whole world is out to get me! the letters have seemed a lot more formal since the CCCS contacted the companies and i even informed the mortgage company of my job loss and new temp job and that its £1k less a month than what i was use too  and the guy on the phone was really awful to me, i'd set an arrangement up of paying 800 a month but the woman for some unknown reason put on the notes id agreed to 200 a week, coz i said i'd be making smaller weekly payments adding up to 800 a month and of course i didn't keep to an agreement i didn't make he made me feel like dirt he really did

I've just felt so low, i signed up to Quidco but i only have access to a computer at work so can't spend as long as it needs really plus i can't afford to buy ANYTHING! however today i think has been a turn around i feel as positive as i did when i got accepted for a DMP again, plus i've just accepted a mystery shopper job for £10 pay ;) and i'm charging my phone at work and i've pinched a book off my dad as it saves on the cost of a paper for the long boring traing journey to work

    Way to go Robbda!
Think of it as pushing some heavy weight - the first bit is the hardest, however far you have to go. Once you have a bit of impetus it will hopefully get easier. Practice makes perfect and all that :) (it's a learning curve after all).
    What's your next target?

  • Hey Rob,
I KNOW JUST HOW YOU FEEL!!

I keep reminding myself that I must, must, talk about something else to friends because this money saving, debt paying, is filling my every waking hour I keep wanting to talk about things like quidco, mystery shopping, etc.

Well done on the mystery shop thing, I love those and have done two in the last month, are you registered with this company?
    www.abaresearch.co.uk

I get my mystery shopping through them and they seem quite regular, had one for TKMAXX recently and got £15.

Well done on staying positive, it must be horrible having to deal with calls and letters, we are not receiving those yet because we are still paying min payments etc. but we are giving ourselves 6 months and if things haven't improved we will go down the dmp route.

Where is your mystery shop at?

cool!!! I've never done a bank.... do you bank with them?

I had to do a shop once and about 2 months later it shut down!!! Couldn't help wandering if my negative feedback had contributed......;)
