Electric Showers - Mira Sport vs Mira Advance

Hi

I'm about to purchase a new electric shower and can't decide between the Mira Sport and the Mira Advance (9.8kw models)

I've had a search on this forum and seen that the Sport gets good right-ups. The Sport is also a lot cheaper (£165 on plumbworld.co.uk, compared to £246 for the Advance)

However, I'm tempted by the regulated temperate facility on the Advance - the reason we are getting a new shower is 'cos our current model goes hot and cold on an annoyingly regular basis!

I just can't believe that Mira would charge £165 for a shower that doesn't maintain a constant temperature!

Grateful for any advice from any Sport/Advance owners.

I recently changed an old 8.5kw sport for an advance, I must admit, it comes in handy when she wants to brush her teeth when I'm in the shower!!

But just ask yourself...how many people in your household and whats the likelyhood of someone running water when you're in the shower against the extra cost (both are good well made showers)
I'm only here for the banter
  • Definitely the Advance but if you want a cheaper shower then the Sport would be better than alot of others.
