Which Private Sales Site to Use?

Hi,

My question is:

Has anyone on this forum used a private sales website to market their property? If so what is your feedback on the individual site and what results did you get?

I have done some research into these sites and found a few of them including www.Sell4Less.co.uk, www.HouseLadder.co.uk, www.BuyItPrivately.com and www.MyPropertyForSale.co.uk.

At a glance Sell4Less seem to have the most professional looking website and very attractive prices. However I have not heard of them before where as I have heard of HouseLadder. Has anyone used any of these? Could you give me feedback?

    I smell spam. Reported.
  • Thanks for that, just trying to take a short cut and hear others opinions. As I've posted this twice now and not heard back from anyone I'll presume no one on here has used any of these sites. Looks like I'm in to do the research myself.

In the East Midlands, there's a company called moveandsave.com that seems to be doing well in my town, as they advertise in the local property paper as well as on rightmove. I have seen a couple of their houses with sold signs on.

Think you may mean moveandsave.co.uk not dot com as that leads to one of those repulsive parked website advert nasties.

The UK site seems to base it's homepage on selling it's services, not the houses it has listed, so I'd also not bother with them on that basis alone.

  • Thanks for your replys guys. I'll look into moveandsave.com/.co.uk and house network as well then. I'll keep you posted on my results for anyone else interested in doing the same!
