We had a good day out as well, (a BIG thankyou to the person who sent me the tickets, pm on its way)

Got there at 8am or so and have a wonderful look round everything as not too many people at that time, 2nd row of the car park as well!!!

I enjoyed the mass flag waving in the Peugeot stand any one who was in that stand should know what I am taking about!!

As always food / drinks etc at Silverstone very expensive IMO, so we took our own and avoided the ques for the food vans!! (Burger £5!)

  • hi fellow silverstoners What A DAY!! we had a 16th birthday party on Sat night at home, swept up at 1.30 am, went to bed at 2.30 am and got up at 6.30 am. OMG. it was worth it the racing was superb. the weather was brill and we only spent £24.00 £5 of that on a programme (there was a bucket full of party food left over!!) I was actually thanked by the four kids we took Shock. AND we came home with a hardly used, fully worn, racing tyre (I dont know why), it seemed a good idea at the time. Thankyou sooooo much to the OP .
Its not how far you fall but how high you bounce back that matters

Thanks Op. We had an absolutely FAB time. When I asked my 10 year old son what he liked best he said.... The cars, the noise and .......getting things for free!!
He must have bought home 20+ flags ,15 caps, 24 signed post cards, 2 bags and 2 posters !!! Imagine what his bedroom looks like now!

    We had a great time
    Thank you
