big long curtains

I need some advice regarding curtains. we are moving in a few weeks to a big old house with high ceilings and big windows. the house comes with a job, so not optional. because no double glazing, need to get heavy, lined curtains which will reach the floor. so we are talking about 9ft (108 inches; 300 cm?) Two of the rooms…

emr - re Curtain Exchange. It depends where you are. There used to be a Curtain Exchange in Glasgow but not on the website list so I presume it isn't there any more. There also used to be a similar thing outside Edinburgh, I think the address was Breastmill House.
