in Credit cards
Hi guys,
Just trying to prepare to apply for a new credit card, and obviously want the best chance possible of being accepted. I can't remember the answers I chose previously for my current credit card, but asking for my residential status - I don't know which is best to put.
Living with Parents or Private Tenant? Both are true, I'm a student a live with my parents for 6 months of the year, and live in my property at Uni for the other 6 months.
Which should I be putting and which has the best chance of being given approval by the banks?
Thanks as always,
- Joe

Wouldn't you put the answer that related to the address you apply from?0

So the answer that is where I am registered on the electoral roll I presume you mean? If that's the case, it will be my home address with my parents I suppose.

The implication of Private Tenant is that you have higher outgoings than Living with Parents.0

I don't think it'll make that much difference0

You definitely need to put the address at which you are registered on the Electoral Role. This is crucial to getting a decent line of credit.
If this is your parent's address then I would suggest that you tick the box "living with parents".0 -

Totally, electoral role WILL make a big difference.0
