Im with orange, £12 for bband and free evening and weekend calls. (free wireless router and never any connection problems). My monthly bill is usually around the £15 mark but Im rarely in during the day to make calls.
Im seriously thinking of changing to sky when my contract is up in Feb, they seem to have some good deals at the minute.0 -
Don't touch Virgin Media then. We've had nothing but trouble with them since they took over NTL.
Considering jumping ship to BT/Sky myself.Norn Iron Club Member 3300 -
If you have Sky and are in a Sky enabled area, they're good value and very easy to set up.Norn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0

Hi,
Just been offered an amazing offer with Talk Talk with LLU in rural N.Ireland.
£13.75 per month for 6.5 Mb , Free Boadband and calls. This also includes line rental!
I have had 10 years trouble free Tiscali so I am reluctant to move but this offer seems to be the best locally.
Anybody had any recent experiences with Talk Talk?
I also note that AOL, Tal Talk and Tiscali appear to be merging.0 -
I've heard of a few people having problems with Talk Talk, but I'm sure it's no more than those who have had a problem with BT, Virgin, Sky and so on!
I think Talk Talk are getting a better reputation than they used to have.Norn Iron Club Member 3300 -
Hi,
we are with Orange, the broadband is free with my mobile contract. we have no problems with their broadband, but we really only surf the internet, don't do much downloading.0 -

Virgin is cheap but the customer service - I really can't think of a word for how bad it is. It is all of the terrible things you hear about callcentres - staff who don't understand english or pretend not to, operators who always assume problems are your fault etc. And if they can't deal with your query they'll pretend to put you on hold and eventually you'll be disconnected. Or they'll just pass you from pillar to post.
I can get quite worked up about this as you can tell. That said they are cheap...I would move on but the thought of trying to extract myself from them is so offputting I don't manage it.0 -
Not sure if it helps, but plus.net do phone and broadband. They're our broadband provider and I been very happy with them since I got it...hmm...about 5 years now. Haven't checked out the phone option yet as it isn't my telephone connection!#96 of the Norn Iron Club

I'm with tiscali for broadband and free local national and international calls all day everyday for £19.99 a month. I still pay line rental to BT. I am quite happy with tiscali but I see we can get a similar deal from sky to include the tv package as well as BB and phone for £21 per month. The only thing I'm worried about is losing my email address. Does anyone know if tiscali will let you keep your email address for a while (for a fee obviously) until you've notified everyone of the change?Member #7 SKI-ers Club
