Medion GoPal Sat Nav

i have been given a "Medion Gopal" sat nav
it;s only got the UK & Ireland on it but i'm told
it will work with TomTom and i can get euro maps for it?
any advice i would be greatfull

Consensus seemed to be that it can be done with a lot of aggro, but that the Medion s/w and maps are good enough for it not to be worthwhile modding.

There are several other useful threads on the same sub-forum if you ~really~ want to give it a try...
