Hi everyone
I only stumbled across this board yesterday and I'm already hooked! I've been out today and been bargain hunting ready to make my Christmas hampers! I would have never thought of the idea myself and I'll be so skint at xmas as my maternity pay runs out in November... so thanks so much I was dreading Chrismas but now I'm really looking forward to getting all creative and making my bath salts, sloe gin and hampers! :j
Been to TK Maxx and bought some beautiful little slippers for my daughter for £1, an Aspinal purse for £3 and a Cath Kidson Bath Set for £3! I also went into Boots and used my £5 skin care vouchers for pressies and now have another 2.... really chuffed with that! Bought my epsom salts, lemon oil and roll of cellophane! I'm so excited!!!
Going to Wilkos tomorrow to get my baskets!
I also have my daughters Christening in December so I' sure I'll be picking your brains on that one
Anyway just wanted to say hi and thankf for all the inspiration!

I totally agree with you on this site - I think its the only site I have been on in days!! Great for ideas.
I too am making hampers for christmas for the first time and started getting bits in too. So looking forward to making them up.
Thanks everyoneAvon sales - C4 £1080 -
I have stopped reading the hamper thread because it actually cost me too much!!! I like others can't help thinking "oooo so and so would love that in their hamper" and well... eventually I'd have to buy bigger hampers and it all kinda got out of control
So this year I'm hoping to be able to make food gifts for most people - I don't mind them having hampers but I want everything in them to be MADE
Either things like crochet, origami or foodie stuff
Hopefully people will appreciate them for the time and effort as much as the items themselves
