Hi folks
Sorry about the bad English in the thread title! ... Just need a new mouse as this basic MS optical mouse is starting to annoy me. It is not very precise or responsive and sometimes wanders!! .... Not interested in wireless but I do want a good quality comfortable mouse that is nice and frictionless etc,
Ideas welcome...
budget ... around 20quid?

nothing much wrong with a basic MS mouse IMO
have you cleaned its 'feet' and the desk area its 'walking' on
have you enabled "enhance pointer position" in control panel0 -
What surface are you using it on?0

Can't go wrong with a Logitech Mouse.
Here's what I have and I love it, cheapest here,

Hi there again ....
Just cleaned the feet and feels much better .... Cannot believe that there was some grime there being a newish mouse!!! Wandering is still a problem so I think I will still get a new one that is at least more comfortable and is a LASER one!
Ones that look good are
RX1000 OEM logitech .... about 11quid on amazon
LX3 logitech ..... looks comfortable and has some horizontal tilting capability 17quid on logitech website.
The arch of my hand does ache sometimes after extended use so worth my while thinking about what I buy. Something too small will irritate and hurt my hand!!

Yeah I don't like the smaller mice, My hands start aching after prolonged use. Thats why I went for the MX400. Good Size and nicely weighted plus 7 buttons
If you go to the Link on my previous post to the Logitech Site and click on the Mice you can view various pics from different angles of each Mouse.
The LX3 looks good.0
