Hi,
I am not sure if this is the right place to post but when I was in Majorca in the summer, we visited a number of cafes that had Playstations, Xboxes etc for public use. They were cased in and were similar to the ones that you get in Toys r us to try out new games. Does anyone know you can buy these from?
Sorry, I am so untechie -I don't even know what you would call them - any help would be gratefully recieved!
Thanks

Illegal basically...
All the game CD's are copied into the xBox and instead of putting discs in, they read from the xBox directly. It's like copying a CD to your computer and then selling it. They probably copied the game and then sold it off/returned it!
It uses a ModChip to let them do this, and they have just been banned in the UK (well last year sometime!)0 -
look @ the word "chipped" this means modified to play copies of games . sony and microsoft are not really too happy with anyone modifing their original firmware to such an extent they will via a copyright theft fine you so be warned i guess most mse's wont be using pirate games . but on a legal side you also see those cases for the ps2 etc in some pubs so ask the landlord where they get them frombe happy!0
