Tarmac Drive Improvement

I have a large drive area which is tarmacadamed and in good condition. However, the tarmac is very course grained, and, because the drive is on the north side of the house, there is a build up of moss on the area which is in constant shadow. It is very difficult to remove this growth, which looks very unsightly. Even using a pressure washer, which tends to loosen the surface.
I was wondering if any of you tarmacers( is there any such word) out there could suggest a treatment that I could apply to the surface to give it a more close grained surface. It seems to me that what is required is a mixture of bitumen and sand or fine gravel with which to top dress the surface. Is there any such product, or would one have to make it up oneself. I would prefer to use a cold bitumen. Any advice and/or information would be much appreciated.

I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

Dilute bleach will kill the moss."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Brick paving sealer might be an option. Don't know if it's suitable for tarmac but it stops moss growing. Only downside is the price and it would make the surface more slippery in the winter.
