all i spent was £1.30 for parking as i needed to take my son to doc's. i would of walked as it only about a 40 min walk , but it is very cold out and i thought it wouldn't be wise espesh as he is only 16 weeks and got a cold. bless him.

and i think my hubby spent 75p buying a loaf of bread for me. pretty good day for us.
  • A grand total of £0.00 again today - but I do have a prescription (for an ingrowing toenail - argh!) that needs sorting, so that'll cost me a couple of quid tomorrow.

I spent £7.84 on some groceries - fruit, veg, rolls, butter and yogurt. Now have enough food for the rest of the week, so shall be aiming not to spend any more, at least for the next few days.

I was going to say I've done pretty well today but thinking about it I've spent £14.40 on 8 school dinners ( 2 each for the kids this week and next) £5 on the tea/coffee fund at work and £2 on a swimming cap for DD. Not so good afterall!!

Still on the bright side, that should be it for the week!!;)

  • Had to buy lunch again today - I overslept and so ate my packed lunch for breakfast. £1.81

    dearly beloved's paper - 32p

six weeks of childcare £217.50 (Can 6-year olds be put out to work these days? Gotta be cheaper than the out of school club and he'd be paying his own way)

    total:
    £219.63

Hi all, you've started me off thinking about fishfinger sandwiches now and the grill on the oven's broken, so can't have one! Grrr!

    My spends today have been
£1.10 bus fare home from work
£1.40 on a drink, a Wonka chocolate bar & a packet of fruit pastilles
£1.75 on a birthday card for my Grandad

    Total for today - £4.25

Still have to buy a present for Grandad by Sunday, so will probably be spending another £20 later in the week - anyone any ideas what to buy for an 85 year old? Have been thinking for 2 weeks and still not decided what to buy! May have to take the easy option and buy him a selection of real ales or a bottle of whiskey...
