Samsung 932MW

Options
Hi guys,
I have just purchsed a Samsung 932MW at the great price of £169.99 which is a great price and seems to be over £200 anywhere else.

My problem is that I want it as a TV, connected only to the Sky box.

Have I purchased it correctly for the use intended as all the leaflets seem to imply that it may be only for use with a PC input. The box keeps referring to a PC Monitor so does it have a dual use (PC Monitor and TV) or sole use (PC Monitor)?.

Do I need to purchase a HDMI/DVI cable for use with the Sky box or am a just a complete and utter techno novice?

Any help appreciated....:T

  • I had a look at the manual and it has the component inputs on the back in the middle (the coloured ones), your Sky box should have something similar if you look at the back of it.

Which Sky box do you have?

Cheers for the feedback. I have looked and again tried to use the scart lead from the sky box to the TV and guess what, it works !!!!

My only other question is whether an DVI cable would give me better picture quality?
