Close student account when no longer a student?

Hi there.
My daughter started uni last year and opened an HSBC student account to have her loan paid into, she has now decided she's not going back, so does she have to inform the bank and close her account or is she allowed to keep it as a regular account.

Hi,
You will need to inform them she's no longer a student - they'll probably just convert the account to a normal current account :-)
