Insurance Query...student renting single room

Any suggestions as to the best way to insure for this scenario...
Daughter renting single room in a private house.....
Has use of all facilities in house
Whats the best type/form of insurance for her and all her personal belongings (laptop, Ipod, TV etc) whilst she rents this room
and
for her property if something happens in the rest of the dwelling.
She is currently starting the LPC so as such is still a student, but this isn't a "student let"...its more a house share ....if that makes sense....she hopes when she qualifies to keep on living here as a "housemate" as she has no intention of leaving the area... the other girl is working and paying the mortgage, my daughter rents the room
thanks

If her room's locked, there's a chance she might be covered on your insurance...my first port of call would be to give them a call and ask...Failing that, endsleigh (sp?) normally work out pretty competitive in this kinda situation...0

Or keep a baseball bat under you bed - you hear someone, you get um, you get um good. That way they will never come back - now thats money saving!0
