One for the ladies:
Siana Q10 day and night cream is back on sale at Aldi. (£ 1.89)
Can't tell for how long, though.0 -
This months Super6 fruit & veg at Aldi are:-
Red Seedless Grapes (500g)
Oranges (6 pack)
Iceberg Lettuce (each)
Red Apples (6 pack)
Fine Beans (250g)
Salad Potatoes (1kg)
All priced at 49p a pack.0 -
Aldi's lovely purchases!:
Specially selected crisps (near the tills) must be Kettle Chips (79p)
Bio Yogs - Cracking
The Dairygate kids yoghurts, petit filous, baby loves them!
Pemium Cola (We used to drink tesco's own, but this is nicer!)
25p sparkling water, again, cracking
Vanilla and Creme Brioche, amazing
Flapjack, a nice wodge for 39 / 59p?
Oven bottom muffins (marvellous, on 6 for 4 at the minute too)
Cheese slices (only to go in burgers, cant tell difference)
We are compling a list to do most of our shopping at the discounters, we spend waaay too much on impulse food shops (Morrisons, we pop in to get a chicken and salad, and end up with £12 worth of shopping, gah!)
Our plan is to get the hardline long life stuff (pop etc) monthly, does anyone know if Aldi / Lidl do a UHT orange juice? We spend 59p on tesco's value stuff and i think we must be able to get it cheaper.0 -
Any recommendations on bread? We dont eat that much, but its nice to have some in the house, even if its in the freezer, the price of it is terrible at the minute!0

Aldi's Village Bakery Wholegrain Seeded bread, absolutely top drawer.
Additionally, spotted a loaf of best of both on the shelf yesterday, Aldi are supplied by British Bakeries who produce Hovis breads. The stuff cannot be that different!!!0 -
Uppage, first major shop tomorrow, so exciting about the discoveries that will be made :-)0

Impressed with ALDI, Lidl however, strange shopping experience.0

This "super 6" promotion is running in the UK as well. "Super 6" produce is attributed to each store by HO according to individual store performance, with the manager having no influence on how much is sent in (just like weekly specials).

OKOCIM Polish Lager. This is a first-class Pilsener from an established brewery in Brzesko, Poland. It beats many a German Pilsener and is nicely priced at 99p per 500ml bottle.

I should be at an Aldi in next couple of days so will try some - interesting price comparison (rip off Britain) Waitrose same item £1.490
