Over payment Question.

Hey all,
A company messed me around royally the other week and I asked for a refund on the product I bought.

They refunded me 4 times.

What are the laws on this - can they just retake it out without my permission if they discover it, or do they have to come to me? Do they have a certain length of time to get it back?

They'll probably just recall/recharge you 3 further times to bring the balance back to zero and yes they can just take it back.
It's their money regardless of whether you have it in your posession or not so just let due process take course.

If a different company charged you 4 times, instead of just the once, for something would you expect that company to refund you 3 of them without you asking? After you asked nicely? After you'd taken them to the FO/court? Would you think you had a certain length of time to get it back?
