Beginner credit card questions

Hello, I recently applied for a capital one platinum card i ticked all their boxes my credit should be excellent never missed a payment in my life! Anyway they sent me an application form for one with a 19.9%APR and 0% on purchases only till may. I want the card to pay for £2000 of flights. I was thinking of going for the barclay or halifax ones instead but for sum reason it appears bad if companys check your credit!?? (i think).
So may have to stick with this one but there is a few things worrying me:
Whats my limit? The paper work only says: Minimum credit limit of £500?
And in the small print : Total charge for credit is :At the time the agreement is made,is comprising interest in sum of £152.98??
Does this mean im gunna get charged that sum for using the card?
I guess what i want to know is can i book those flights then pay the £2000 off in say april and it only cost me £2000? Any hepl would be grate.
I got 1st CC 12 year ago i still got same one so go easy on me if im askin silly questions:o

You won't know your limit until you get the card, it is very difficult to predict Credit Limits so best to wait and see, but you know it won't be less than £500.

Don't worry about that Total Charge for Credit of £152.98. You do NOT have to pay this, it is an illustration that the card companies are required to issue for regulatory reasons.

Provided you pay the full amount borrowed back before the 0% offer ends, and you make all the required minimum payments on time whilst in the promotional period, you will not pay anymore than you have borrowed.

    Hope this helps.
