Generally speaking Annual Charges are rare these days, but not unheard of.
It should say in your "Terms and Conditions" or your "Summary Box" whether there is an annual fee.0 -
just realised the forms are here, it says the anual charge is £0 and then in another bit annual charge £188. is this a card i shuld just give a wide bearth0

I don't think you will pay £188
This is probably on the illustration which is only an example and is shown for legislative reasons. It does confuse many people, and doesn't actually mean anything.
On the rare cards which do have an annual charge it is usually of the order of £20.
Can you tell us which card it it ?0 -

The OH applied for this card and we were reading the information that came with the application, it does give the impression that there is a yearly fee!
We were going to call them before signing the credit agreement but in the end felt we didn't need the card!0
