Credit limit increase on Goldfish cc?

Hi,
I have had my Goldfish CC now for about 6 months with a £ 500 credit limit.
Always paid off the balance in full at the end of the month. Never paid late, but did go about £ 3 over my limit once due to some intrest being added on.
As we are going on a 5 week holiday to Australia in November, I would quite like to get my credit limit increased. I am aware that spending abroad on a CC equals getting charged, but it is more for ease of mind and in case of any emegencies.
How do you rate my chances of getting a credit limit increase, and how much would they go to?
Also, would Goldfish be more likely to increase if I tell them I'm going on holiday abroad (as they would be making good money from any spending over there)?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

You could try asking them, however they may decline your request as tyou did went over your limti once (they normally don't care about the amount). Breaching the card's Ts&Cs within the first few months of opening an account is considred quite a bad thing to do!
I suggest you get another card, maybe from Abbey Zero, Nationwide or Post Office? Those cards won't charge you extra for making purchases abroad.0
