Hi,
does anyone know of any free ad blockers that work ? My pc died a couple of weeks ago, I have had to install all my own shields etc, but as a novice am plagued by ads and norton ad blocker seems ineffective.... All the ones I,ve tried only scan your pc for free but ask for payment before blocking..I have no idea if they will work anyway!
How do I remove the ads from my menu bar, where they now live? and the popups I have blocked are allowing ads but blocking links from emails!!! What on earth have I done, cheers guys, regards, Melissa.

Products worth looking at that are free are AdAware, Spybot S&D, Microsoft Anti-Spyware, and Spyware Blaster. The first 3 of these will help clean up, including the browser hijack that may have happened, and Spyware Blaster and the others will block things being installed in future.0 -

Oh so you didnt find anything, Moonie posted AdAware I suggested
that it might not be the thing the OP was looking for, as for what moonie does is upto he/she I deleted my posts after moonie deleted hers/his
as there was no point in having an irrelevant post/s.
And you didnt suggest anything, dont get all ancy...
