I want to use my Egg money card to pay for my honeymoon during there 2% cashback period - Problem is I have a feeling that thomas cook will want to charge me a fee to pay by credit card which will probably wipe out my cashback - do you think if I ask them nicely that they will wave the fee? the total amount is £3000 (£60 cash back) - not sure how much thomas cook will charge but normally around 1.5%.

If they waive their normal credit card fee, you had more room for negotiation on the price!

This is very true - I really dont think that I have any more room for negotiation there though - got it down from £3600 - got virgin, thomascook and lloydstsb (current account holidays) to all play off each other so ended up with a good price - BUT another £60 is always welcome.0
