I made a stupid mistake at work. I've been waiting ages to get a printer/scanner/copier for the office. Although I did my research, I missed out the fact that the model we chose in the end was not actually network ready (it's a long story, and not really relevent).
I want to send it back and order a different model, but my boss wants to keep it because it's shiny.
So, would it be possible to buy one of those £20 print servers (like this one) and run the printer from our server, which serves 6 terminals? Please say yes!

Yep..that's the jobbie. Plug it in and give it a static IP address which makes life easier.0

Thanks for that! I can do the static IP thing, so no worries. If I could give you multiple thumbs up I would.0

Wait, will that support full both way transmission? Some only let you print, not scan etc.Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0
