Has anyone any experience of FirstSave? They pay 7.10% on their 1 and 2 year bonds but I've never heard of them before.

I set up a fixed bond online with them, never had to provide any identification, everything came through in the post fast, your direct debit to take out the money is put in place about 8-9 days after you apply online.
Then I set up another fixed bond with them, and it was very easy - just logged onto online banking and selected "open another account with us". Very simple and the money was in the account in 2 days.
No problems so far.
Some people steer clear of them because they are associated (or are) a Nigerian Bank. However, they are registered with the FSA in the UK so that means that your savings are fully guaranteed up to £35,000.You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0
